Trial Testers Arc[]
He was the foremost genius among the disciples of the Sorcerer Tribe's Heavenly Underworld Branch who came to invade the Firmament World.[1] As soon as he arrived in this plane, Su Mo and the experts rushed to confront him and the rest of the Trial Testers. Similarly, the lost descendant of the Sorcerer Tribe, Wu Sen also arrived to met Wu Tianyu. Wu Sen even gifted him Hong Qingxuan that was still in the hands of the Netherworld Devil Sect.[2]
Wu Tianyu and the disciples of the Sorcerer Tribe thought it was going to be extremely easy to slaughter the experts of this plane and harvest their martial souls, but things did not happen as planned. Around 95% of the Trial Testers were slaughtered by Su Mo and a few were hold captives. Wu Xian was one the Sorcerers captured by Su Mo as she had the most important background among them.[3] While Wu Tianyu managed to survive and escape when the space chanell opened once more to leave the plane.[4]
He was hoping that Wu Fan and Wu Yi, the two martial honorables, will be able to kill Su Mo and Qin Busi once they exited the Firmament World but they could not as these two had captured Wu Xian and some others disciples and had to let them leave.[5]Heavenly Underworld Star Arc[]
Hong Qingxuan still being prisoner of Wu Tianyu, Su Mo decided to infiltrate the Sorcerer Tribe. He refined an avatar, Wu Chen, and with his new identity entered Black Glow City. He learned from Wu Changyuan that Wu Tianyu did not have Hong Qingxuan anymore as he had passed her to the Grand Priest, Wu Lun.[6]
Wu Tianyu and "Wu Chen" had several conflicts. The first one was because Su Mo devoured all the energy inside the Earth Pagoda, letting nothing for Wu Tianyu and the rest.[7] The second one happened in the Young Priest Selection where they both participated.[8] Su Mo and Wu Tianyu's performance were like heaven and earth. At the end of the competition, Su Mo was the final winner.[9]
Su Mo, realizing that his identity as Wu Chen was suspicious, he needed to let his true body escape as soon as possible. He thought of a detailed plan and summoned Wu Tianyu. The best candidate for possession and escape would be Wu Tianyu. Not only would Su Mo be able to successfully escape, but he would also be able to take his revenge. It would be killing two birds with one stone. As the Young Priest, his current status was high. Wu Tianyu did not dare to refuse Su Mo’s invitation.
Su Mo used the Dream Real Fighting Soul to drag Wu Tianyu into a dreamscape before revealing him his true identity. Wu Tianyu pleaded for his life, telling him that he knew Hong Qingxuan's whereabouts and that he will told him everything if his life was spared. Su Mo did not bother and used the Soul-searching Skill, learning that Hong Qingxuan wasn't in the Sorcerer Tribe anymore. Wu Lun gave her to a woman of the Sun Moon Tribe and that her memory was erased.[10] After that Su Mo killed him by devoured his Hurricane Fighting Soul. He possessed Wu Tianyu and handed him his true body before escaping the core areas of the Heavenly Underworld Branch.[11]
After Su Mo returned to Guzhou Star, he had to hand over a body to Flaming Ghost Sage as he had promised and Flaming Ghost Sage chose the body of Wu Tianyu. From now on, the body of Wu Tianyu belong to Flaming Ghost Sage.[12] As for his Hurricane Fighting Soul that was devoured by Su Mo, Su Mo gifted it to Jiang Fengran when he returned to Town Tushan.[13]Cultivation Progress[]
